TSSA’s Amusement Device Safety Program regulates the devices designed to entertain thrill seekers, including roller coasters, Ferris wheels, merry-go-rounds, water slides, go-karts, bumper cars, inflatables, bungee devices and zip lines.

TSSA also issues permits for rides each year the rides are in operation. TSSA inspects new devices prior to their start up and again at the start of every new season. 

When necessary, TSSA also conducts investigations.
