Michael Burjaw joined the TSSA Board of Directors in October 2025 and serves as a member of the Safety and Regulatory Affairs Committee.
Mr. Burjaw brings extensive experience in operations management, procurement, and vendor performance improvement. He currently provides consulting services specializing in optimizing vendor relationships and enhancing organizational efficiency.
Prior to his consulting work and appointment to the TSSA Board, Mr. Burjaw held several senior leadership positions, including Director of Security, Parking, Emergency Management, and Purchasing at Sheridan College. He has also served as Manager of Procurement with Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board, Project Manager of Vendor Relations with the City of Hamilton, and Plant Manager at Sanitation Equipment.
Mr. Burjaw previously served as board member of the Ontario Association of School Business Officials, contributing to the advancement of business practices in the education sector.
