TSSA is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors of our Web site(s): www.tssa.org, www.operatingengineer.ca and www.safetyinfo.ca. In general, you can visit our Web sites without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself.

Why did you receive an email from us?
If you have received an e-mailing from us:
  • Your contact information is either listed with us as someone who has expressly shared this address for the purpose of receiving certain types of information from us ("opt-in").

    OR

  • You have registered, purchased or otherwise have an existing relationship with us. We respect your time and attention by strictly controlling the frequency of our mailings.
How we protect your privacy
We use both physical and technological security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of data used by our systems.

Sharing and usage
We will NEVER share, sell, or rent personal information with anyone without your advance permission or ordered by a court of law.

Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you emails based on your request for information and to contracted service providers for purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you.

How can you stop receiving email from us?
Each email sent contains the required info to support your request to stop receiving email from us, or to change your expressed interests. If you wish to do this, simply follow the instructions at the end of any email or contact the sender with your requests.

If you have received unwanted or unsolicited email from our systems or purporting to be sent from our systems, please forward a copy of that email with your comments to contactus@tssa.org for review.

Correcting/updating your information
The information contained in your member profile is what we use to send you TSSA emails. You can update your own profile at anytime by following the "Update Member Profile" instructions on any email we send you, or by clicking on the "Manage your account" link on our website and following the instructions contained on this page.

Hyperlinks to other web sites
Our Web sites provide links to other safety or related organizations. While we try to link only to sites that share our high standards and respect for privacy, we are not responsible or liable for the content of or the privacy practices employed by other sites.
