  • New safety requirements for boilers and pressure vessels used for agricultural purposes
  • Educational seminars for owners of elevators in residential buildings
  • An increasing use of data and evidence to assess risk factors as part of becoming an Outcome-Based Regulator
  • The introduction of a fixed fee structure for licences, permits and registrations
  • A highly successful campaign to follow up on organizations with lapsed authorizations, which addressed a significant safety gap
  • The successful completion of Phase Two of a four-phase IT system upgrade
  • Development of new compliance standards that clearly define high-risk items and safety tasks for specific devices
