Contractor Registration

Under the Technical Standards and Safety Act, 2000, any person who installs, repairs, services, removes or maintains an appliance or a type of equipment used in the handling of, or use of, a hydrocarbon must be registered with TSSA. TSSA keeps a registry of these registered contractors to communicate relevant safety information, track incidents or address public inquiries.

Who is eligible to apply?
Any person who installs, removes, repairs or services appliances, or an agent of the person who agrees to install, remove, repair or service sold or leased appliances.

How to register
To register, please complete the following application form: and along with the appropriate registration fee (see the Forms & Fees section), return it to:

Fees can be paid by VISA, MasterCard, Debit Card or by a cheque made out to Technical Standards & Safety Authority.
