Fuels For Heating

Fuels like natural gas and heating oil are part of our everyday life. They keep our homes warm in the winter through appliances like gas furnaces or fireplaces. It's TSSA's job to ensure that equipment and appliances associated with the transportation, usage and handling of these fuels comply with Ontario's laws.

We also work with industry groups to help raise public awareness about fuels safety, specifically to educate the public about the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. Click here to learn more about how you can protect your family.
